Liquidmetal® Sees Strength In High-Tech Alloy Business
SEATTLE -June 27, 2002 -(Dow Jones)- LiquidMetal Technologies expects to complete its initial manufacturing plant during the third quarter and to get a commitment to sell Motorola Inc. its high-strength alloys by the end of the year.
John Kang, president and chief executive, told Dow Jones Newswires that LiquidMetal is also negotiating to manufacture components for watches, golf clubs and other sports equipment, as well as a variety of additional product parts at its new 100,000-square-foot plant being built in South Korea ....
