Rawlings Signs Liquidmetal Deal

Rawlings Sporting Goods Company has strengthened an existing relationship
with Liquidmetal Technologies with a new, multi-year exclusive agreement.
The agreement commits the two companies to working together to develop
baseball equipment utilizing Liquidmetal alloy materials. Rawlings, a
subsidiary of K2 Inc., introduced metal bats using Liquidmetal technology,
Liquidmetal Pure Energy Transfer, last year.
Through joint development efforts, the two companies intend to improve and
expand upon current bat products as well as explore opportunities for other
baseball and softball related product applications," stated Liquidmetal
Technologies.
